Spicy chick pea nibbles
INGREDIENTS:
400g can Edgell Chick Peas, well drained
2-3 teaspoons Dukkah or Moroccan spice
1 tablespoon oil


METHOD:
1. Heat oil in a large frying pan, add Edgell Chick Peas and cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Add Dukkah or Moroccan spice and stir well.

2. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot or cold as party nibbles.

SERVES: 1 ½ cups

PREPARATION TIME: 5 minutes
COOKING TIME: 2 minutes

TIP: As an alternative to frying, Spicy Chick Peas can be placed into an ovenproof dish and cooked in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 15 minutes.  Dukkah is a combination of spices, nuts and seeds and is available in the spice area or specialty section at supermarkets.
