Hommus
INGREDIENTS:
400g can Edgell Chick Peas
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini paste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 glove garlic, crushed


METHOD:
1. Drain Edgell Chick Peas reserving two tablespoons of the liquid. Place in a food processor with remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.

2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a bowl and drizzle with a little extra oil and sprinkle with paprika.

MAKES: 1 ½ cups (450g)

PREPARATION TIME: 10 minutes

TIP: Hommus can be used as a dip, as a spread on Turkish or Pita bread or in souvlaki. Tahini is a sesame seed paste available on the shelf at larger supermarkets.
